Fortress Recycling choose dataflow for their

Waste Management system

Fortress Recycling Limited have chosen the dataflow Enterprise Waste Management system to run their business. The company began life in 1981 undertaking operations at large outdoor events throughout the country such as The Royal Show. The company went from strength to strength and expanded into year round waste management services predominately for the commercial sector.

Fortress is still family owned, but is now a second generation business. Fortress owes much of its success to recognising that customers are the life blood of the company.

Fortress is an innovative and ethical waste recycling company, led by a Chartered Environmentalist, Fortress is evolving in a rapidly changing environment:

• Fortress actively promotes recycling as a major route to waste reduction.
• Cardboard and paper collections form a significant part of the waste stream.
• Fortress actively explores markets for recovered materials increasing recycling targets.
• Provides customer support for environmental practices carried out with innovation and safety.

All Fortress vehicles and equipment are to a very high standard. Vehicles are purchased direct from the manufacturer with whole life Contract Maintenance Agreements. Every vehicle has satellite tracking and all containers are micro chipped. This allows Fortress staff to pinpoint exact vehicle location, monitor container collection activity and thereby provide a second to none service for customers.

Fortress Recycling have chosen dataflow Enterprise for their accounting software with the Waste Management system as the MIS Business solution to run their operations. Their implementation of a 15-user dataflow Enterprise system includes the core Financials and Waste Management systems.
