DATAFLOW HITS THE TARGET!

Dataflow and NewTech deliver integrated true 32-bit accounting, manufacturing management and logistics solution

UK accountancy software company Dataflow has announced a strategic partnership with distribution and manufacturing systems developer NewTech. The deal integrates NewTech's popular Target! software with Dataflow's 32-bit client/server accounting system to provide a seamless manufacturing, distribution and accounting system for Windows environments.

Target for dataflow is aimed particularly at small to medium sized operations that have traditionally used disparate manufacturing, distribution and accounting systems. Target for dataflow now offers a powerful integrated and user-friendly solution covering all aspects of management, logistics and finance from stock control and order processing through product shipment to full multi-company and multiple base currency accounting and reporting.

“It became clear that our customers wanted and would benefit greatly from tightly integrated accounts functionality with their Target! systems,” explains Mike Spencer, at NewTech. “As we did not have the specialist skills, experience or the time to develop our own top quality Windows accounting solution we looked around for a suitable partner. dataflow~32 was chosen because it offers a powerful product set and because it is a true 32-bit solution, could be integrated easily with our own software.” Target for Dataflow is sold and supported through Dataflow and NewTech qualified dealers and specialist resellers.

Target! is a 32-bit Windows distribution and manufacturing system, designed to meet the needs of technology-based businesses where rapid access to product, stock and order data is essential. It is particularly suited to organisations that need to control rapidly changing product design, configure complex products to order, manage shipment and repair of products and procure materials from sources all over the world.

dataflow~32 is a powerful suite of enterprise accounting software for Windows 95/98 and NT environments. The latest Y2K and EMU compliant version includes support for Microsoft SQL Server and is scalable for 1 to over 200 users. dataflow~32 goes far beyond just Euro support and not only allows sales and purchases to be posted on any currency but also enables accounting and reporting in any number of base currencies.
