Moving towards the "paperless office" Dataflow's built-in e-mail technology gives you instant communication and offers a flexible alternative to the traditional approach of printing and posting documents such as Invoices, Order Acknowledgements, Statements and Remittance Advice.

  • Works across the entire suite of dataflow modules
  • e-mail attachments are sent as Adobe PDF documents
  • e-mailing or printing of documents is controlled on an address by address basis
  • e-mail addresses are stored in the Customer/Supplier record with statement and individual invoice address details
  • In the case of invoices and orders, e-mail addresses are saved with the document at the time they are raised
  • Only the appropriate documents, i.e. those will e-mail addresses attached, will be processed
  • Optional hard-copy documents can be printed simultaneously with the transmission of the e-mailed document
  • A delivery receipt can be requested
  • Features are controlled by system parameters for Invoice and Order documents
  • e-mail "subject" and message text can be tailored for each individual document
  • The message subject can include the document number to help in reconciling documents sent against delivery receipts
  • Individual documents can be reprinted and e-mailed to the default recipient, an alternative e-mail address from the same account, a manually entered e-mail address, or one from your Outlook address book
  • Standard reports can be e-mailed from the print preview window
  • Availability of the "e-mail" button can be limited to appropriate users
