Dataflow - Implementation |
The Implementation process begins with the configuration and installation of the software. This will enable the customer to begin their testing and data build up. Import options are available within dataflow for all static data, such as Customer and Supplier details and Chart of Accounts and transactions. We can also investigate the methods by which we can extract data from the current system. This will be discussed with the Project Manager before the system is installed.
Once all the requirements have been identified an engineer attends the customers offices to install the software. We set up all the company details, as well as all the users and their access control and ensure the general system is working correctly. We will also define the need for any customised documents and MIS Reporting requirements in addition to those supplied as standard within dataflow.
On completion of the installation, an Implementation and Training Consultant will carry out the fine tuning of the system as well as providing basic training on the operation of each module. We will schedule the training to take place over a period of time enabling the users at the end of this period to have a basic knowledge of the system.
We use both real and representative data from your business during this phase and are able to remove any worries regarding going live, because it is essentially just an increase in volume through already proven processes.
This final stage of moving towards a Live environment includes assistance from a Dataflow consultant. There may also be a requirement for live data conversion and on-site support during the initial days of the system running.
