Dataflow - Haulage Management - MultiHaul

For the small or large traffic office Multihaul controls the input of jobs, load details, allocation of vehicles, trailers and drivers. Collection and delivery addresses can be free typed or quickly populated from short keys and look-up tables.

Loads can also be free typed, input from contracts or from lists of standard descriptions that are built up by the user. There is no limit to the number of items in each of these fields. Similarly as many rate tables as required can be built in and also be allocated to each customer.

Working Time Directive

With the implementation of the European Working Time Directive, employers need to be able to keep track of the hours that their employees have worked and check that they are not breaking the law.

This is an almost impossible task using a manual system and even with the help of a computer, you still have to enter all of the details for each employee. The Multihaul Working Time Directive module takes away all of this hard work and makes keeping the working time records simple.

Pricing can be by a variety of methods including bulk, volume, items and quantities. The traffic screen is easy to read and can be simply customised for each individual user. Colour coding of the jobs by status makes the management of jobs simple. In built error checking highlights jobs that require attention. There is a field for a diary code that can be used to analyse jobs and provide valuable information for "Groupage".

Multihaul holds jobs for as long as you require so the history is always available for reproduction, copying to a new job or for simple reference purposes. The system links to a comprehensive report writer that enables the user to extract information on all the data that is held.

 

Palletline

Multihaul has the ability to interface directly with Palletline's system, allowing the automatic exchange of jobs between Multihaul and Palletline.

Palletline depot codes can be assigned to customer and supplier accounts in Multihaul to allow the processing of jobs for both collecting and delivering depots automatically.

 

Digital Signature Capturing

Dataflow has released Multihaul v1.81 which now includes Digital Signature Capture for Windows Mobile phones as standard.

The system uses the phone's internet connection to send the day's manifest to the driver's mobile.

Once the delivery is made, using the mobile, a signed proof of delivery can be obtained and transmitted back to base and subsequently updated automatically against the job with no user intervention.

In addition, if a copy Invoice is required this can be emailed direct to the recipient by return, significantly saving time, money and valuable resources. These features are also available for integration to other third party systems such as Palletline.

Finally with Multihaul's ability to retain data from day one, all past and present management reports as well as documents such Invoices can be viewed on screen or emailed at any juncture, making Multihaul a truly paperless system.
