The dataflow Multihaul Web Gateway is a transport management system, specifically designed for the haulage and logistics industries, which can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection

Fully web based, the system has an ‘ease of use’ functionality that allows customers to view and create their own jobs directly in the Web Gateway, whilst the haulier can monitor the status of all jobs on the system.

The Web Gateway can stand alone, or it can be easily incorporated into the haulier’s existing web site.

Customer Gateway

The Multihaul Web Gateway provides easy integration with the main dataflow Financials, providing the renowned level of dataflow automation and efficiency, thereby reducing back office administrative problems.

It securely accesses the Multihaul database, allowing customers to instantly see any changes to their jobs.

Customer Options

Within Multihaul, the standard dataflow security allows hauliers to assign a password to each customer who has access to the Web Gateway. It is also possible for the haulier to select which companies individual customers have access to.

Job History

Once the Customer has logged in they can view a full history of all the jobs that have been carried out on their behalf. This screen is designed with the identical look and feel of the main Multihaul Diary screen, with limited operation for the use by the Customer.

They can track the status of current jobs, view their POD and if the job has been invoiced, see a copy of the invoice that has been raised by the haulier. Jobs are easily selected from a calendar and can be filtered by the normal filtering capability of the Diary screen.

Job Creation

Customers can use the web interface to request the creation of new jobs in Multihaul. They can enter load details which are free typed, collection and delivery address and requested collection and delivery date and time. Job requests are placed in a pending folder, allowing the haulier to accept or reject individual requests after reviewing them. Once accepted, jobs are added to the standard Multihaul traffic system.

Requests for jobs entered through the gateway can be automatically imported into Multihaul. The Traffic Office is given the option to accept or reject each job, or to transfer it to another company for processing.

Third Party Tracking

Customers can assign an e-mail address to each job, and the system will automatically generate an e-mail notification to the recipient. Each e-mail message contains a unique identification code allowing the user to track the progress of the job on-line, from booking to delivery.

E-mails are automatically sent to recipients with URL to enable them to monitor the progress of a delivery.

Multihaul Gateway Architecture

The Gateway diagram shows a graphic explanation of the system. Your customer on the Internet connects to Multihaul Gateway web page, and the web page connects to your computer, via the gateway. The program is partly hosted by Dataflow and partly by you.
