The dataflow Multihaul Web Gateway is a transport management system, specifically designed for the haulage and logistics industries, which can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection.

Fully web based, the system has an ‘ease of use’ functionality that allows customers to view and create their own jobs directly in the Web Gateway, whilst the haulier can monitor the status of all jobs on the system.

The Multihaul Web Gateway can stand alone, or incorporated into the haulier’s existing web site.

Haulier Gateway

The Multihaul Web Gateway provides easy integration with the main dataflow Financials, providing the renowned level of dataflow automation and efficiency, thereby reducing back office administration.

It securely accesses the Multihaul database, allowing customers to instantly see any changes to their jobs.

Traffic Office

The haulier can now remotely, via the Internet, access the Multihaul Diary screen and control the input of jobs, load details, allocation of vehicles, trailers and drivers. Collection and delivery addresses are free typed.

The traffic screen is easy to read and using colour coding of the jobs by status, makes the management of jobs simple. This screen is designed with the identical look and feel of and the same filtering functionality of the Multihaul Diary screen.

Job Creation and Scheduling

Hauliers can use the web interface to create new jobs in Multihaul. They can assign vehicle, trailer, driver and load details which are free typed. There is the ability to enter collection and delivery addresses and collection and delivery date and time, plus various other information.

New jobs are placed in a pending folder, allowing the haulier to transfer them to the main Diary system.

Third Party Tracking

The haulier can assign an e-mail address to each job, and the system will automatically generate an e-mail notification to the recipient. The design and the layout of tracking information to be viewed by the recipient can be designed within the Web Gateway.

Access Control

dataflow Multihaul Web Gateway allows individual customers and drivers to securely access the information they need through secure authentication, with each user having their own unique password.

From within dataflow Multihaul hauliers can see exactly who is accessing the system at any time.

This allows the format of the tracking e-mail to be configured. The e-mail will contain a web URL to allow the recipient to track the progress of a job.

Driver Access

Using the latest GPRS technology and a PDA or mobile phone connection, drivers can view a manifest of all jobs assigned to them on a specific day.

They can also use the Multihaul Web Gateway to update the status of jobs when loads are collected or delivered, giving instant feedback to both customers and the traffic office on the progress of each load.
