MultiStor

The MultiStor storage and warehousing package is a comprehensive yet simple to operate package, designed to cater for the requirements of all sizes of companies storing products on behalf of their customers.

The package has been designed to operate as a true 32-bit software application within Microsoft Windows and runs in conjunction with the powerful range of dataflow solutions.

The flexibility of the package enables the user to define documentation and invoice designs, to generate reports and to set up various storage types and charges for each product or customer. A stock control of items stored can also be maintained per customer.

For those companies operating larger or several warehouses, a simple to operate multi-location facility for each product held in store is available. As Multistor is parameter driven, it is possible to tailor the system to suit users requirements.

Invoicing

An automatic invoice production program creates invoices based on storage, handling and miscellaneous charges. Dependant upon the system wide or customer requirement parameters, invoices may be produced for all or individual products with subtotals on storage, handling and other charges.

Ledger updates are automatically performed if required.

Report and Enquiry Facilities

The Multistor system contains many standard reports, but it also links to Crystal Reports, a flexible report generator which allows the user to tailor reports to suit his, and his customers, requirements.

Reports may be produced in Product, Customer, Product Group or Location order and may be created, for example, for simple stock balance lists, or for comprehensive historical analysis, showing all movements related to each product.

A comprehensive enquiry program allows the operator to see the exact details of each product, including both the unit and item stock balances, details of damaged stock, historical and current movements and multi-location stock balances.

Stock Movements

A simple to operate stock movements program allows the operator to record all types of movements, not only receipts and issues, but adjustments, transfers and stock-take balances.

Each movement is recorded immediately allowing full and up-to-date enquiry and report facilities. Documentation requirements (movement/despatch notes etc) may be tailored to suit individual requirements.

The facility to create new stock records if not on file is available within the stock movements program. The facility to record damaged stock is also available and a full and comprehensive audit trail of all movements is provided.

Storage Details

Stock balances may be held for each stock item, in both unit and item values therefore allowing "split packs/pallets". This facility also allows stock items to be held in both unit and weight values.

A storage type (eg. per unit, items or area) is requested for each product as is the relevant storage charge, which may be expressed in either pounds or pence.

Also requested for each stock item is the necessary handling details.
Handling charges for each product may be set as:-

• Receipts only
• Issues only
• Issues and receipts
• No handling charge

As stock movements are recorded against the products, the relevant handling charges are automatically calculated and displayed with the facility for over-ride.
