Insight

The view you build yourself the moment you log in.

The Dashboard is the page DataFlow opens to when you log in — a canvas of chart panes you build and arrange yourself, drawing live figures from the Nominal Ledger, Stock Control and the Trade Ledgers. It is per user, so the layout is yours to keep.

  • Your own canvas, ready on log-in
  • Charts drawn live from the ledgers and stock
  • Filter, group and export in a few clicks

Bannerman Company Ltd
The problem

When the numbers live somewhere else.

If the figures you check every morning sit behind a report someone has to run, the day starts slower than it should.

A report for every question

Sales, purchases, nominal and stock each live behind their own report, so a quick glance at the business means running several and stitching them together.

One view for everyone

A single fixed screen tries to serve the whole company, so nobody sees quite the figures that matter to their own role.

Figures stuck on screen

When you want a chart in a board pack or a table in a spreadsheet, there is no quick way out — so the numbers get re-keyed by hand.

Yesterday’s numbers, today

The figures are copied into a spreadsheet dashboard once a week, so the picture you glance at each morning is already several days behind the business.

Frequently asked

Dashboard questions.

What do I see when I log in?

The Dashboard is the default page each user sees on log-in — a configurable canvas of chart panes drawn from the Nominal Ledger, Stock Control and the Trade Ledgers.

Is the Dashboard shared across the company?

No. It is per user, not per company. Each user builds and refines their own layout, so the view suits your role rather than a single fixed screen for everyone.

How do I add a chart?

Right-click the canvas to add a Sales, Purchase, Nominal or Stock chart, then modify, copy, remove or export it. Each pane can be a bar, column, line, area or pie chart with a configurable legend.

Can I filter and export the charts?

Yes. Filter each chart by accounts, stock items or locations and by three-level analysis groups, choose the period and aggregate by sum, count or average. You can export a chart's data to Excel or its visual to PDF.
