How do you split a cost across several jobs?
Each tagged posting captures an allocation percentage alongside the Job ID, cost centre, amount, resource and department, so a cost that serves more than one job can be split across them.
Where does labour cost come from?
Timesheets is the primary labour-cost source. Hours are tagged by job and appear on the Job Costing pane, and timesheet cost can be reported by job, resource group, department and cost centre.
Can financial reports break down by job?
Yes. The job dimension is carried through to the Nominal Ledger, so financial reports slice by job without a separate reconciliation. Job Profitability shows budgeted versus actual, margin and percent-complete per job.
