The Android companion is a lightweight app that puts a subset of DataFlow on an Android device — order processing, stock lookup, trade-ledger reads and SagePay card payments. It runs on your existing DataFlow licence, so it is a companion to DataFlow rather than a replacement for it.
The problem

A card payment gets handled on a standalone terminal, away from the order, so matching the takings back to the ledger becomes another job for later.
